In celebration of the scheduled reopening of the Hyattsville Branch Library in 2021, PGCMLS is creating an engraved brick pathway leading to the iconic saucer. You can join us in paving the way to the Library.
This is the perfect opportunity to honor your friends, family, your favorite library staffer, or other special people in your life. It is a great gift for a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. You can also honor your own love of the Library!
When you purchase a brick, let us know how you would like to personalize and the PGCMLS Foundation would be happy to notify your special someone to let them know that you dedicated a brick to them.
You may personalize your brick with a name, quote, a special date, or the name of your company or club.
You can donate to the PGCMLS Foundation to have a personalized brick added to the Hyattsville Branch Library. Make your $100 donation online or by mail (details below). You can also add a virtual brick for an additional $25. Please let us know your 3-line message. All personalizations are subject to PGCMLS approval.
Since 2021 is a ways off, the PGCMLS Foundation is providing an opportunity to build a virtual walkway before the physical bricks are placed next year. Virtual bricks will displayed on the Hyattsville Branch Library webpage. The donation is $25 per virtual brick and your brick will be posted online within one week. Donating for a virtual brick is a fun way to celebrate the Hyattsville Branch Library now.
All proceeds from brick donations will support the PGCMLS Foundation whose mission is to engage and advance the people of Prince George’s County through the power of libraries. The PGCMLS Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization and your donations are 100% tax deductible.
