3D Printing

3D printing services are now available to all PGCMLS customers! Printable files may be submitted online and picked up at any PGCMLS branch.

The cost for 3D printing is $1.00 per hour and is calculated once we receive a print request. Once your print request is processed, you will receive an email with the print cost. Once you have confirmed the cost, we can schedule your file for print.

The current wait time is approximately 2 weeks from submission to pickup.

Tinkercad is an in-browser 3D modeling program and a great all-ages introduction to 3D modeling. Tinkercad is designed to be a learning tool and offers many interactive lessons and tutorials.

Sculptris is a downloadable modeling program designed to imitate the experience of sculpting clay. It is a good choice for creating organic designs and character models.

Blender is a free and open-source 3D software used for creating 3D printed models and interactive 3D applications. Blender is an advanced tool recommended for those with experience in 3D modeling and digital design programs.
