AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free tax aid for low-income and senior taxpayers. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified each year to ensure their knowledge about the latest changes and additions to the U.S. Tax Code.
Please bring a copy of last year's tax return and all W2 and 1099 income documents to ensure accurate service. Call 301-292-2188 on Fridays between 10 am and 2 pm to make appointments for the following Tuesday.
The Laurel Branch Library will close effective March 10, 2014 and reopen at a temporary facility located at 8101 Sandy Spring Road, behind the Laurel Municipal Center on March 31, 2014.
The construction of the new Laurel Branch Library, which will be almost double the size of its current edifice, is expected to take about 18 months.
All programs and services will continue at the temporary location, including storytimes, Internet access and Wi-Fi. Branch hours at the temporary location will remain the same. More
