Safari Books Online - New Online Library Resources with Technology eBooks

Book covers of technology books, including Access 2013 The Missing Manual, WordPress for Dummies, Google Maps, 101 Ready to Use Excel Macros, Hands-on Music Theory and Access 2013 Absolute Beginner's Guide.

You can now access hundreds of ebooks on technology, digital media, operating systems, and desktop and web applications through Safari Books Online, a new online library resource. Safari Books Online includes popular technology series, like the Missing Manual, For Dummies, Absolute Beginner’s Guide, Sams Teach Yourself, Quick Steps and Plain & Simple series. These ebooks are not downloaded. They are read via an internet browser which supports Flash.

In addition to ebooks, you can also discover online video courses providing in depth lessons on Microsoft Office programs in Safari Books Online

College Goal Maryland

College graduates

This program for teen and adult college-bound students is presented in partnership with the Educational Opportunity Center at the University of Maryland. Attendees will receive free, on-site assistance filling out the 2015-2016 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms. They will have an opportunity to talk to financial aid professionals about how to apply for financial aid resources. Information regarding state-wide student services, admission requirements and more will be presented. Get help understanding the aid awarded before making your college choice. Please bring your financial documents, including your 2014 W2's and/or 2014 tax returns for on-site FAFSA form review and completion.
