Hello and Happy Autumn,
The library staff has been involved in workshops to develop our new strategic plan for 2020-2023. Our focus will be on how the library plays an active role in advancing our community. Community response to our strategic plan survey has been tremendous with over 1,800 people completing the questionnaire. Print copies of the surveys are available at all of our branch locations, as well as on our web page in both English and Spanish. We appreciate your willingness to help guide us as we prepare for our future.
Who wants to talk about books? Community Raving About Books (CRAB) launches this September! CRAB tote bags are packed with everything you need to host your own book discussion including 10 copies of the book, questions to guide your conversation and author information.
As your children go back to school and you start your new routines, make sure you continue to schedule reading time with your kids. If you do not have a library card now is a great time to visit one of our locations or go on-line and sign up. Our library card provides you with access to a world of great books, resources and learning. You could even sign up for a limited PGCMLS Signature Library Card.
Always something new @ your library!
