Interim Co-CEOs Message

Ring out the old and ring in the new! That's  exactly what the Library is doing this holiday season. The New Carrollton Branch is on track to open next summer with much improved public spaces and a wondrous children’s Discovery Reef! Planning for the renovation of the Surratts-Clinton Branch is almost complete. Bidding is underway for the construction of the Hyattsville Branch. The planning phase for the Bladensburg Branch is beginning. All these beautiful libraries will welcome you in coming years.

Happy Holidays!

Friends of the Library @ PGCMLS

The active County-wide Friends group met recently, and three Board members attended to get insight from this group of stakeholders and advocates.

The Friends group shared successes and current projects. They have supported performances for children, volunteered to help with after-school tutoring, advocated in the community and organized great book sales. Our Friends of the Library groups welcome your memberships and donations this holiday season.
