"The Lesser Blessed" (2012) Monday, November 18, 2013 - 6:45 pm
The final screening in the fall series, "The Lesser Blessed" is written and directed by Anita Doron, and is set in the Northwest Territories. The story is told through the eyes of Larry Sole, a First Nation teenager who is trying to find his way in the modern world; he is filled with bravado and angst, seeking to belong without belonging. The story that follows is about three unlikely friends isolated in a small rural town discovering what they can of life and love and racial tensions, in a world clouded by a dark mystery from the past.
