On February 21, 1965, Malcolm X was preparing to address an audience at the Audubon Room in New York, when a commotion broke out.  As Malcom X and two bodyguards tried to calm the situation, three assassins rushed forward and shot him to death.  Controversy has surrounded this murder as to who wanted Malcom X dead and why.  Please join us Saturday, February 7, at 2 pm, as Dr. Miller, of Bowie State University examines this pivotal historic moment.  Following Dr. Miller, a student from Woodstream Academy will recite Ossie Davis’ eulogy of Malcolm X.   Then join our book discussion club the following Wednesday, February 11, at 7:15, as we discuss the Autobiography of Malcolm X.
