Copy / Fax / Print / Scan
All PGCMLS locations have black and white copiers and/or Library Document Stations which allow you to scan a document and print it.
The cost per page is $.15.
The following branches have fax machines for public use:
- Fairmount Heights
- Hillcrest Heights
- New Carrollton
- Oxon Hill
- South Bowie
- Upper Marlboro
The fax machines will only send faxes, they are unable to receive faxes.
The cost for faxing to a US fax number is $1.75 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.
The cost for faxing to an International fax number is $3.95 for the first page and $3.45 for each additional page.
The fax machines accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa credit cards, but cash is not accepted.
All PGCMLS locations have black and white printers for public use. The cost per page is $.15.
The South Bowie branch has a color printer for public use. The cost per page is $.30.
Once a customer prints from a public computer, the print job must be paid for and released within 2 hours. Print jobs will not be retrievable after 2 hours.
Wireless printing is not available.
At Hyattsville, Greenbelt, Spauldings, South Bowie and Oxon Hill, print release stations accept nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar bills and five dollar bills. All other PGCMLS branches take credit cards only.
All branches have scanners for public use.
Scanned files can be saved on a flash drive, uploaded to Google Drive, sent to a smart phone through a QR code or emailed for free.
Scanned files which are printed will cost $.15 per page.
