Join NIH Neuroscientists for an overview of the fundamentals of the brain, followed by hands-on learning of neuroscience in the various stations!
Prince George’s County Memorial Library System is excited to partner with the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke/NIH to present programs promoting neuroscience education and awareness to students in Prince George’s County. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the human brain directly from NINDS staff and scientists and also take part in fun hands-on activities. Participating branches will host two separate programs based on different brain-centric topics. These programs are recommended for students 9-14 years old, although all interested students and parents are welcome to attend!
