Inheritance Cycle, Book 4 - All will be revealed....

According to Christopher Paolini, this thrilling conclusion to the Inheritance cycle will finally answer all "the burning questions asked by fans around the world." Due to be released this November, Inheritance, is expected to be just as popular as the first three books in this series.

We're Celebrating Teen Tech Week!

Teen Tech Week is an annual event sponsored by the American Library Association with the express purpose of ensuring, you, are aware of the electronic resources and technology available to teens in their local libraries.

We're celebrating this special week with events held at branches throughout our county:

Greenbelt Branch:
Monday, March 7 at 5 pm, Grab your Wiimote and come test your skills.
Tuesday, March 8 at 5 pm. Come back and try again.
Saturday, March 12 at 1 pm. Last chance to come out and play!!!

Upper Marlboro Branch:
Wednesday, March 9 at 5 pm. We're breaking out Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, Dance, Dance Revolution and American Idol Encore! 

Gaming Events Happening Today

Spend the afternoon playing Dance, Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. It's happening at 4:30 pm today at the Largo-Kettering Branch.

Tonight, at 6 pm, the Beltsville Library is hosting Family Gaming Night for all ages. Video games available include Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Rock Band I & II, Madden X, Tatsunoko v. Capcom. We also have Uno, Wits & Wagers Family Edition, Monopoly, Life and Chess.

Middle Schoolers! Join Read Across Maryland

Read Across Maryland30 for 30 Program

Prince George’s County Memorial Library System in partnership with area Title I middle schools launches the Read Across Maryland Program in which students read for 30 minutes each day for 30 days. Participating students in the middle school with the most reading minutes will be awarded prizes.
