of texts online. Search by author or title or just browse
through the listings. WARNING: trying to print entire books
is not a good idea! Save to disk and read online - or print
important passages for future reference.

Bartleby has the full text of many fiction and non-fiction
works including the full text of the classics from Harvard
Classics Fiction Shelf and various essays and speeches.

Literature Resource Center). You may either browse by title
or author. The search tool is somewhat less helpful.

Resource Center
This is a huge collection of biographies on people of all
professions, nationalities, and backgrounds. The easiest
way to search is by entering the name in the quick search
box and hitting enter. A way to find a person of a specific
ethnicity, nationality, or profession is by conducting a
"Biographical Facts Search." Once you have the
results, the tabs give you different types of articles:
narrative (3-5 pages), thumbnail (a paragraph), Who's Who
(just the facts), articles, and websites. If visiting this
site from home, you'll need to enter your library card number
to get in.
