Books for Toddlers

Good books for toddlers have:

  • a simple, predictable plot
  • rhymes, songs and poetry
  • sounds and noises as part of the story
  • appealing illustrations
  • subjects from toddler's real world
  • words and phrases that repeat
  • flaps and simple pop-ups

Please ask a librarian for help in locating books and music to share with your toddler.
