Founded in 1909 by the Wright Brothers, the College Park Airport is the world's oldest continuously operating airport. The interactive, hands-on Aviation Museum offers exhibits, family workshops, and children's events.
- The Howard B. Owens Science Center and Planetarium (Lanham)
This science center emphasizes interaction and participation; it primarily serves students of the Prince George's County Public School system. The Planetarium is open to the public on the second Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. during the school year.

- The Publick Playhouse (Cheverly)
Cultural diversity is a hallmark of this theater which attracts audiences from throughout the greater Washington Metropolitan Area for music, modern dance, musical theater, and historic drama. Once a month, the Playhouse hosts Saturday Morning at the Movies -- Vaudeville Style: family fun that begins with a half-hour of live entertainment, getting the audience involved in the act, followed by a popular feature film.

- Watkins Regional Park and Nature Center (Upper Marlboro)
