The Library's collection of licensed databases may include information on this topic; these are commercial, copyrighted materials that PGCMLS licenses for the reference and research needs of its customers; often this material comes directly from printed books. Most of these databases may be accessed remotely, while a few are available only to users on PC's in our Branches.
The Library's collection of electronic reference books may also include information on this topic. These online versions of printed books do not have to be checked out or downloaded; like databases, content can be searched and sections printed. They are always available for your use in the Library and through remote access from home.
The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System’s collection includes a large number of books, magazines and electronic materials on topics such as general parenting, child development and psychology, discipline, education, homeschooling, child and teen health, helping children with school work, ideas for fun things to do with your children and much more. We also provide educational and cultural programming (including storytimes, book discussions and Summer Reading programs) for the entire family.
