Library Policies

Date Due

  • The last date stamped on the date due label is the due date. This is a day when the Library branch where you checked it out is open.
  • If you return materials after the due date, we charge a fine for every day late that the Library is open.
  • When you return materials late and don't pay the fine, the amount owed is added to your record.
  • Customers are notified by an automated phone system of overdue materials, and you can check the status of your Library card yourself in the Library's catalog. See Your Account
