May books be viewed before the sale date?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate requests to view books prior
to our sales.
How many books are in the sale? Where do they come from? What
else is sold?
Thousands of books, both hardcover and paperback, are for sale.
These items have either been removed from the Prince George's
County Memorial Library System's collection or received as donations.
What are the book prices? Are checks accepted?
Most adult hardcover books are $1; children's hardcover books
are $0.50. Compact discs and recorded books are $2. Video cassettes
and DVD's are $4. Some special items may be priced higher. Checks
are accepted with proper identification: driver's license with
correct address or MVA issued State ID card.
What identification is needed for tax-exempt/non-profit individuals
or groups?
We will need to see a State issued tax-exempt certificate with
a tax- exempt number.
Is there a limit on the number of items that can be purchased?
No, but we do ask that purchases be removed the same day.
Does the library offer discounts or donate books to any groups
or organizations?
We do not offer discounts and no donations are made.
Are encyclopedia sets sold? Are textbooks available?
Sets of encyclopedias are usually available. Textbooks may be
available.
How and where can I make donations?
Items in saleable condition may be donated at any branch library
or directly to the Storage area at the New Carrollton Branch Library.

Sorry, all sales are final.
