Early Literacy - Books for Toddlers (18 months to 3 Year Olds)

Good books for toddlers have:

• a simple, predictable plot
• rhymes, songs and poetry
• sounds and noises as part of the story
• appealing illustrations
• subjects from toddler's real world
• words and phrases that repeat
• flaps and simple pop-ups
