How to Make a Meeting Room Reservation

Please note that we are using a new room reservation system and you need your library card number to make a reservation.

If you need to create a free library card account, please visit any neighborhood branch with your current ID.

There are some changes to the system that will make it easier to use.

  • No need for a separate account and password, you will just use your library card account.  Only adult library accounts will be accepted.
  • You will pay for your reservation at the time you request the room. You will be able to cancel your requests and have your payment refunded in full to your credit card within 24 hours by PayPal. No need to call the library if you need to change a reservation; just cancel it and re-book with your desired days, times or locations.
  • Your reservation will be confirmed as soon as your payment is received; no need to wait for an approval.
  • All of your confirmed reservations will be available online for you to manage, using your library card number to access or the reference number you receive when you reserve.
  • Room requests will be accepted in a ninety day cycle, so you will always be able to reserve for the coming ninety days.


Beginning at the Meeting Rooms Page, review the policy and click on the ‘I ACCEPT’ link to the Reserve a Room page.


You will need a library card account and PIN to reserve a room (the default PIN is the last four digits of the phone number that the Library has on file for you).  Take current ID to any of our branches to get a library card.


Making A Reservation

After you accept the Room Reservation policies:

  1. Choose a date, branch, room and time period for your booking.
  2. Include set-up and clean-up time in your time block.
  3. Enter your library card number and PIN.
  4. Enter the group name and booking title (name of your event) for your meeting.
  5. Read the paragraphs and check the boxes to confirm that you agree.
  6. Enter your credit card information and make sure that your booking information is correct; if not, use Back to correct. If it is correct, check the box for I have read and agree . . . 
  7. Your meeting/conference room is booked! There is no approval required.
  8. You will be given a link and registration reference code to view the status of your booking.
  9. From the Manage My Room Reservations page, you may cancel your booking up to seven days from your reservation date. A full refund will be returned to your credit card by Paypal within 24 hours.
